Coaching for autistic adults — practical, direct, and on your terms.

Not a service that talks about you. Coaching that works with you — on work, independence, relationships, and energy — with a clinician who has spent 24 years alongside autistic people, from toddlerhood into adult life.

Is this for you?

You might recognize yourself here

  • You have a job — or want one — and the unwritten rules at work cost you more energy than the work itself.
  • Adult life keeps demanding things — appointments, paperwork, decisions — and executive function is the bottleneck, not intelligence.
  • You want friendships, dating, or better family relationships — without masking until you burn out.
  • You were diagnosed late, or you self-identified, and you're re-reading your whole life with new information.
  • Everyone around you has opinions about what you should do next. You want a plan that is actually yours.

If several of these sound familiar, coaching gives you a structured place to work on them — one at a time, at your pace.

What we work on

Six areas. You choose which — and in what order.

Every plan is built from your goals, in your words. These are the areas adults most often bring to coaching.

I

Work & career

Interviews, workplace communication, disclosure decisions, handling feedback, preventing burnout before it happens.

II

Executive function

Systems for planning, starting, and finishing — designed around how your brain actually works, not how planners say it should.

III

Communication & self-advocacy

Saying what you need, setting boundaries, and having scripts ready for the conversations that usually go sideways.

IV

Relationships & social energy

Friendship, dating, family dynamics — building connection in ways you can sustain, without a mask that exhausts you.

V

Independent living

Routines, home admin, money logistics, and big transitions: moving out, a new city, a new stage of life.

VI

Energy & regulation

Understanding your sensory load, meltdown/shutdown patterns, and recovery — so pacing becomes a strategy, not luck.

Who you'd be working with

Some of the toddlers I coached are adults now. We're still working together.

Most professionals meet autistic adults at one moment of their lives. Dr. Daniel Quiñones Meléndez has walked the whole road: 24 years of clinical practice across Mexico, the UK, and the USA — including his PhD in England and years training future speech and language therapists at British universities — following many of the same clients from early childhood into adulthood: school, first jobs, independence, relationships.

Adult coaching here isn't an add-on to a children's clinic. It's the continuation of a practice that has followed autistic people across their whole lives — grounded in one of the largest private clinical archives of its kind.

Trained in England. Working in UK hours.

Dr. Quiñones earned his PhD at Canterbury Christ Church University and spent years training future speech and language therapists at British universities — collaborating on the design of bachelor's and master's degree curricula.

He knows the UK landscape first-hand: diagnosis pathways, reasonable adjustments at work under the Equality Act, and the long waits that push many adults to look for private support. Sessions are scheduled at UK-friendly hours, including evenings.

How it works

Three steps. No surprises.

1

Initial consultation

A 60-minute video session ($195, credited toward your first package). You talk, we map what matters to you and whether coaching is the right tool. If it isn't, I'll say so and point you somewhere better.

2

A written plan

Concrete goals in your words, a proposed pace, and clear pricing — in writing, so you can decide on your own time. No pressure tactics, ever.

3

Coaching sessions

Weekly or biweekly 50-minute video sessions. Everything is tracked in the TherapyConnectData app, so progress is visible data — not vibes.

What a session actually looks like

  • A short check-in on your week (~5 minutes)
  • One focus topic — chosen by you, in advance (~30 minutes)
  • Concrete next steps, written down together (~10 minutes)
  • You get the notes afterward. Camera optional. Chat instead of talking? Also fine.

Same structure every time. Rescheduling is a button, not a negotiation.

Transparent pricing

Clear packages. Prices in writing. No pressure.

Everything is stated up front, because deciding calmly requires knowing the numbers.

Straight answers

What this is — and what it isn't

This is

  • Practical, one-on-one coaching toward goals you choose
  • Supporting you in finding what being autistic means to you
  • Structured, measurable, and predictable
  • Available in English or Spanish, online, worldwide

This is not

  • Psychotherapy or crisis support — if that's what you need, I'll help you find it
  • An attempt to make you "less autistic" or teach you to mask better
  • A program about you designed for someone else — you are the client
  • Vague life-coach talk — every goal has a next step you can point at
Long-term, not drive-by

Common questions

Questions, answered plainly

Do I need a formal diagnosis?

No. Coaching does not require a diagnosis. Formally diagnosed, late-diagnosed, and self-identified adults are all welcome. If you ever want a formal evaluation, we can talk about options — but it is never a requirement.

Is this therapy?

No. This is coaching: practical, goal-directed work on skills and situations you choose. It is not psychotherapy and not a substitute for mental-health care. If what you describe needs a therapist, I will tell you directly and help you find one.

How are sessions delivered?

By video call, from wherever you are. Camera on or off — your choice. If speaking is hard on a given day, using the chat is completely fine. Sessions are available in English or Spanish, with slots that work for US, UK, and Latin American time zones — including UK evenings.

I'm in the UK — is this for me too?

Very much so. Dr. Quiñones earned his PhD in England (Canterbury Christ Church University), practiced there for years, and trained future speech and language therapists at British universities — he knows the UK system, from diagnosis pathways to workplace adjustments under the Equality Act. Sessions are scheduled at UK-friendly hours, and pricing converts to roughly £470/month for weekly coaching.

How much does it cost?

Two ways in: a 30-minute exploratory conversation for $100 (see if this is what you need — credits toward the full consultation), or the 60-minute initial consultation for $195, credited in full toward any package booked within 14 days. Packages: Focus Sprint — $840 one-time (6 sessions, one goal); Momentum — $595/month (weekly sessions); Direct — $945/month (weekly sessions plus between-session messaging). Everything is quoted in writing. No subscriptions you can't leave, no surprise fees.

What if I only want help with one specific thing?

That works. Some people come for one focused goal — a job interview, a move, one difficult relationship — and finish in a few sessions. Short, focused engagements are welcome. You will never be talked into more than you need.

Who is the coach?

Dr. Daniel Quiñones Meléndez, PhD, M.S., CCC-SLP — a bilingual speech-language pathologist with 24 years of clinical practice across Mexico, the UK, and the USA, and clinical director of TruePotential in Tucson, Arizona. He has followed many autistic clients from toddlerhood into adult life.
