Dr. Daniel Quiñones Meléndez, PhD, M.S., CCC-SLP
Clinical Director
Designs and evaluates every intervention plan and leads the quarterly reviews. 24 years of clinical work across 3 countries with hundreds of children with autism, language delays and complex communication challenges. PhD in Psychology (Canterbury Christ Church University, England); he trained future speech-language therapists in the UK and co-designed university bachelor's and master's curricula. Arizona-licensed, bilingual English/Spanish. His clinical work is the foundation of the TherapyConnectData platform used in every session.

Educational Therapy Coordinator
Makes sure every program is implemented exactly as designed — by instructors and by parents. She is your first line of support, with the Clinical Director as the resource for advancing or troubleshooting programs. Schedule or staffing requests: tpevaluations18@gmail.com.
Your instructor team
Instructors under clinical supervision
Students or professionals in education, psychology or special education, implementing plans under clinical supervision at a ratio of 5-6 instructors per supervisor. Weekly staff meetings review every student's progress, and parents always have access to instructors, supervisors and the clinical director to adjust lesson plans.
Scheduling & staffing, in plain language

- Requests for schedule or staff changes go to Nicole by email (tpevaluations18@gmail.com). Every request is reviewed to ensure the best possible service.
- TruePotential recruits and manages staff. Parents participate in recruiting; final placement is made by the assigned clinical supervisor.
- Consistent assignments are the goal, but changes can occur during the year.
- One-on-one meetings with an educational assistant always include the clinical supervisor.

Everything on this list is due on the first day of class, so instruction can start at full speed.

Staff may request additional materials with their own due dates. All materials should be provided before the instructional session begins.

- The monthly price is the school-year total averaged across the months. Months have different numbers of teaching days, but your payment is the same every month.
- No refunds or make-ups for holidays and breaks.
- Payment is due before the 1st of each instructional month.
- Only pre-approved hours are rescheduled. Hours canceled without sufficient notice are not rescheduled.
- If we ever have a staffing emergency, those hours are rescheduled — never refunded.
- Tuition includes the initial meeting and the quarterly 1-hour multidisciplinary progress meetings.
Enrolling or continuing for 2026-2027?
The service contract must be signed and delivered in person at TruePotential no later than Monday, August 3, 2026 — the first day of class. We will walk you through it.
Joining mid-year? Families can enroll at any point in the school year. If you start mid-month, the remaining days of that month are billed by the hour — which works out to roughly the same as the monthly rate — and standard monthly tuition begins on the 1st of the following month.
Questions families frequently ask
Can I use Arizona ESA funds?
Yes — the program's educational therapy services are eligible for Arizona ESA (Empowerment Scholarship Account) funds. The one exception is the $25 same-day cancellation fee, which cannot be paid with ESA funds. We are a private-pay practice and do not bill insurance; please confirm specific line items through your ESA account.
What does a typical day look like?
Three to four hours of one-on-one instruction with your child's assigned instructor: targeted exercises, play-based work built on the relationship, and — on planned days — educational outings in the community. Data is collected throughout, every single day.
How do I follow my child's progress?
Through the TherapyConnectData platform, where programs are monitored and adjusted daily and parents can follow progress at any time — plus a 1-hour multidisciplinary progress meeting with your family every quarter, included in tuition.
Can we join after the school year has started?
Yes — families can join at any point in the school year. If you start mid-month, the remaining days of that month are billed by the hour, which works out to roughly the same as the monthly rate, and standard monthly tuition begins on the 1st of the following month.
What happens on "flexible" holidays?
Some breaks on the calendar are marked flexible (Fall Break, Veterans Day, Spring Break). By prior arrangement with the coordinator, those days can be scheduled as service days. See the 2026-2027 calendar for details.
